Assignment 4

The problem: It is hard to water plants at the right frequency especially for plant owners on vacation.

Engineering Needs:

  1. Must connect to a finite water source (ex. water bottle) using plastic tubing.

  2. The volume of water in the water source can be determined based on the type of plant.

  3. The tube diameter must bet set to control the speed of water flow.

Constraints:

  1. Water supply is finite -- what happens when water supply runs out?

  2. Must use technologies in the Arduino kit

  3. Should not rely heavily on human responsibility/awareness
